LDMA has experimented with many mediums all which have shaped her current practice. Influenced by artists such as Matisse and Mickalene Thomas, LDMA creates paintings that incorporate beads, rhinestones, artificial flowers and energetic brush strokes to accentuate her colorful work.

About the Artist

LDMA, known by her friends as Lexie Dungan, is an artist born in Cleveland, Ohio. Her professional journey started in College at Denison University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Studio Art. In her college years she exhibited locally at the Denison University Art Space in Newark. During Covid she took a hiatus and this past year she has returned to her professional practice. Her work was selected  to be in the BFA’s 7th Annual Art Show earlier this year and she has now joined a community of professional artists with Zero Empty Spaces.
